Each session consists of a simple three stage format:
Stage one begins with a gentle body and mind warm up using music and movement as a departure point. This allows time for participants to familiarise themselves with the space and each other and for the group to set out its working agreement, which can be added to or subtracted from throughout the session. Areas of confidentiality, health and safety and time boundaries are covered during this section of the work.
Stage two introduces the themes of the work as discussed during the planning stages and invites participants to engage in the learning at a deeper level using play, story, scenario and games as tools to identify learning opportunities and to maximise potential.
Stage three is an opportunity to process the learning through group feedback which focuses upon individual learning experience. This is also a time to prepare participants for re-entering the world outside of the learning space.
Emphasis is placed upon individual and group learning outcomes and not upon performance. This method ensures that the containment of a safe space is held and encourages people to step outside of their comfort zone, thus allowing for personal growth and a sense of personal fulfilment
